You are a channel here on Earth. On a very literal You are a channel here on Earth. On a very literal level, the molecules that make up your body are part of the great sea of exchange on this planet. You are pollen, you are sea breeze, you are whale song. And you have the ability to tap into the myriad of voices that make up our planet to bring great wisdom to the whole. My book Mirrors in the Earth was written from this place of channeled connection, and comes with a core message from the Earth— who you are is inherently precious to this world. And your journey of learning self-compassion is a force of ecological healing for this planet. Preorder Mirrors in the Earth today and recognize yourself as someone who is a force of healing on this Earth. (When you preorder through the link in my profile you’ll also gain access to a whole class about earth channeling called “Writing the Earths Voice”) 🌿👉🏼 #mirrorsintheearth #naturetherapy #naturewriting
I used to think that channeling was a special, eso I used to think that channeling was a special, esoteric talent— reserved for only a select few. Then I realized that we are all channeling, all the time. When you sit by a waterfall and feel it rush through you. Or hold a flower and sense sunlight pouring into you. Or when you lean your heart against a tree and know, if even for a moment, how solid the world’s love is.

If you’ve ever had a moment where you knew exactly the right words of comfort for a friend. Or hummed a spontaneous melody and felt the ancientness of the tune. Or had strength gather in you like a wave right before you took a big leap of faith… then you’ve channeled.

Having good boundaries is about opening to, and pr Having good boundaries is about opening to, and protecting, the joyful kaleidoscope of your inner experience. They are a way to maintain deep contact with your own essence, that “mainstream” of your own being, so that you feel ever-more full, content, enlivened— so “in joy” that you can truly enjoy life. Plants are amazing boundary holders. Whether through thorns or poisonous compounds, alleopathic roots or other adaptive strategies of growth— plants find a space in the world, and they claim it as their own.

If you’re ready to emulate the boundaried beauty of the plants, preorder a copy of my new book—Mirrors in the Earth. In the very first chapter we’ll explore how the journey of realizing your goodness begins with defining your boundaries. (Link in bio). #mirrorsintheearth #naturewriting #naturetherapy
Everywhere you go, the plants are with you. It is Everywhere you go, the plants are with you. It is no small thing, to know that any place you visit, there will be a friend. That even when you are the most lost, you are never alone. Wherever I go, the plants find me, help me to smile again. And I can’t help but think, as I love them, that they are loving me right back. Sometimes we get so lost in our own humanness, with its innate fragility and hurt, that we forget how big and benevolent the wider world, the otherworld, truly is. So, if you are needing some support today, if your ability to see the goodness or feel at home seems distinctly eclipsed, let your eyes roam out to your backyard, or the empty lot next door, and find a plant who is waving to you. Because they are right there, waiting to wrap you up in hope.
At some point in my early years, I picked up the b At some point in my early years, I picked up the belief that residing in my own world was unforgivably self-absorbed. The deeper this belief rooted in my being, the more I worried that being ensconced in my own inner experiences would signal a lack of true care for others. For a sensitive person, the idea of being seen as selfish or uncaring felt like a death knell, so I slowly abandoned my own world. The more I forsook my inner experiences, the more my sensitivity became hyper-focused on the people around me. As a natural empath, I became an ever-vigilant spider on a web that was not of my own making. Along with finally learning how to study, I spent much of my adolescent years training myself to be so delicately in tune with the experiences of others, that I often forgot the soil-deep sensation of what it felt like to inhabit my own terrain. The moment I decided I would adopt another person’s world, however, was the moment I orphaned my own. It would take me years, and quiet paddle down Florida’s wild springs, to understand that there was a way to honor and care for all worlds, but that it always began with honoring the niche that is your beautifully intricate inner terrain.

Chapter 2 of my new book, Mirrors in the Earth, will show you how to come back home—to the life-giving waters of *your* inner world. Preorder today, and gain exclusive access to a free bonus course to support you on the journey. (Link in bio).
The more we can honor our sensitivity, the more we The more we can honor our sensitivity, the more we will know how to care for what is so preciously sensitive in our world— including our waters, our creatures, our forests and our communities as a whole. Right now on Earth we have the opportunity to learn how to take care of what is the most tender, beginning with our own selves. So if ever you are feeling a lot, know that it’s more than ok to take the time and space you need to reground. When you learn how to care for your empathic heart, you help shift the over-culture of our world towards greater compassion for all.
